Super bummed to realize John Lurie made an appearance in my neighborhood not too long ago. He appeared at the Nighthawk presenting three episodes of the wonderful Fishing with John. I miss John Lurie, got to see the Lounge Lizards a couple of times, but it’s been ages. Sad to learn he has Lyme Disease, and that’s why he doesn’t play out very often anymore.  I miss this guy.

  2. mutt-r said: now will u listen to me people!?!?!? i was first diagnosed w/ lyme in ‘88. it came back last year….explaining my stroke, brain damage, melanoma, cardiac condition and a deadly drug addiction western medicine threw at me! serious shit, peeps!
