Also, I know this will upset the 90% of my friends list who are Obama supporters, but I’m glad Hillary won. Decades in public service are nothing to sneeze at. I’m still undecided, and the very fact that 90% of my friends list is for Obama tells me he’s different, and inspiring - not that I couldn’t tell already and wasn’t smitten with him the first time I ever heard him speak. But i want this to be a close race. I want Hillary to have her chance. I want people think about it.

If your organization is known for an event, make that event’s date huge across the front of your website.
I don’t care if you are trying to be known as an institute (I’m talking to you, Sundance), or other ancillary festivals (ahem SXSW) or your site’s supposed to be some sort of conference portal (Hi, Ted). Make the date really big. Right on the front.
